Here’s what you’ll need for your Artkal Beads adventure:
- Pegboard
- Tweezers (if needed)
- Ironing paper or ironing film
- Iron
- A snazzy pattern
Here’s your step-by-step guide to creating pixel-perfect Artkal Beads masterpieces:
Step 1: Arrange Artkal Beads on the pegboard, following your pattern.
Step 2: Cover those beads up with ironing paper or masking tape, ensuring they’re completely wrapped up.
Step 3: Time to get your iron game on. Set it to a medium heat (between 160°C-180°C) and let an adult handle this part.
Step 4: Hold the iron steady for about 2-3 seconds. Then, gently glide the iron in circles for about 10 seconds. Make sure the beads are melted!
Step 5: After ironing one side, let the beads chill. Carefully peel off the ironing paper, then flip your design over to the un-ironed side.
Step 6: Melt the opposite side (or not, it’s your call). Just make sure those beads are fully bonded before moving on.
Step 7: Time to flatten things out! Pop your project under a book or something weighty. Let it cool and voilà!
Bonus tip: You can reuse the pegboard and ironing paper/film for more arty adventures down the road!
